Our business name comes from Psalm 90:17:

It’s more than a verse we put on our website—it’s the prayer behind the work we do, the life we’re building, and the legacy we hope to leave for our family.
We’re Nolan and Lauren, husband and wife, parents, and the people behind Ninety Seventeen Steel & Wood. At the heart of everything we do is our faith in Jesus and our desire to build a life centered around Him, our family, and meaningful work. Our business is something we get to build together—and our kids get to grow up watching, learning, and sometimes even getting their hands dirty alongside us.
We love the simple things: working with our hands, creating something from raw materials, gathering around a table with the people we love, and making things that are meant to be used and enjoyed for years to come. We believe there is something special about creating with intention, and we’re grateful that God has given us the opportunity to do that through Ninety Seventeen.
